Last call for Film Opening Call for MOFFOM Grant

Denver Film currently seeks submissions of Letters of Interest (LOI) from filmmaking projects for funding consideration through the MOFFOM (Music on Film – Film on Music) grant.

The MOFFOM grant is for projects that directly focus on music. The grant is provided generously through a multi-year gift from MOFFOM Film Festival founder John Caulkins which awards up to $20,000 annually in finishing funds for scoring, composition, and music licensing efforts for feature-length documentaries.

MOFFOM offers grants to selected feature-length documentary films (with a run time of 70 minutes or longer) in production and post-production. While applications representing a variety of feature-length documentaries are welcome, so long as there is strong justification for the role of music in that project’s application, funding priority is given to music documentaries.

Denver Film will accept LOIs until Monday, June 3, 2024. Finalists must submit a completed application, which an independent jury will review and evaluate to award grants at its sole discretion. Additional information, including a complete list of guidelines, previous awardees, and LOI submission instructions, can be found at https://www.denverfilm.org/moffom-grant/.
