WIFMCO Board of Directors Elections 2024- Now accepting applications.

BOARD APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY February 10th.

If you are considering getting more involved in WIFMCO and would like to apply for a board position, all applications are due by end of day on:

Saturday February 10th 2024.

The below WIFMCO Board positions will be open for a vote by active members: If you need more info on a position or qualification requirements, please let us know!

WIFMCO Board of Director Positions up for Election in 2024

Two Year Terms: Limit of Two Terms*

Treasurer (this is an executive officer position)

Development Chair

Marketing Chair

SoCo Board Chair (must be willing to form a committee in Southern Colorado and run monthly events for your region)

NoCo Board Chair (must be willing to form a committee in Northern Colorado up to Cheyenne WY and run events for your region)

Student Chair (looking to fill this as a co-chair team from different schools)

Member-At-Large (up to 5 positions) At Large positions are only 1 year commitment.

*We are accepting co-chair applicants for the board chair positions. If you want to run as a co-chair for a committee, please also include: the name of your co-chair, why you would like to run as a co-chairs, and explain how you will successfully share the responsibilities of the position.

If you are interested in applying for a Board Member position, please email the Election Committee at info@wifmco.org and include the following;

· Position Title

· Resume

· Statement of Purpose

· Abbreviated Statement of Purpose (1-2 sentences)

· Headshot/Professional Photo (for marketing purposes)

2024 Election Timeline:

Jan 02-Feb 10th : Open for Applications

Feb 15th: Announce Candidates

February & March: WIFMCO to host two “Meet the Candidates” Events (attending one is mandatory)

Mar 12-Mar 20: Online voting opens

March XX: Announce new board members online and at March WIFMCO Event TBD

All candidates will need to attend one “Meet the Candidates” event.

**Application Materials are Due no later than February 10th by 5pm

WIFMCO Board Meets via Zoom once a month as well as an in-person all day retreat twice a year. Board members can miss only 3 meetings in a calendar year. All board members are asked to attend monthly events. You must be a paid member to be on the board. (all members must be at Professional level membership with exception of student chair) Board members may live anywhere in the state of Colorado.
