Gigi Pritzker, member of the Sundance Board of Trustees, will speak at the University of Colorado Boulder as part of the Leo Hill Leadership Speaker Series, hosted by the CU Center for Leadership. Pritzker’s talk will delve into the transformative power of bold storytelling—highlighting how film, television, and theater can drive cultural impact, amplify underrepresented voices, and inspire meaningful change. SeriesFest, the leading non-profit Television festival, is partnering with Universal Television Group and Littleton Road Productions for a FREE screening of the new hit series Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy.

As part of a national tour, the series is engaging college students and local industry members to spark conversations about how storytelling can drive social impact and activism.

Highlights:

• Special screening of an episode of Devil in Disguise at 4:30pm

• Q&A with Patrick Macmanus (Creator & Showrunner) and Kelly Funke (President, Littleton Road Productions). Both are accomplished Television Creatives and SeriesFest Advisory Board members committed to exploring urgent social themes, including toxic masculinity, systemic failures, mental health, and suicide prevention.

• Post-screening reception to continue the conversation with Patrick & Kelly. 

About the Series:

The series is fictionalized, recounting John Wayne Gacy’s crimes while highlighting systemic failures that left 33 young men’s disappearances unchecked. No violence or triggering material is shown—the focus is on the psychological impact and victims’ stories, honoring their memory and encouraging discussions around justice and accountability.

Join Angel Williams, as she shares the basics of Script Supervising, using a script she used while filming. She'll walk you through step by step, all the important aspects that make a great Script Supervisor as well as sharing the necessary reports for script supervising.

Angel Williams is a U.S. Army veteran, award-winning writer, and producer redefining inclusive storytelling. As co-founder of Soldier Up Productions, she fuses creative firepower with military-grade precision to deliver bold, authentic content that moves culture and drives impact.

Her original scripts Stone Fate and Conversations with Mom landed on Coverfly’s Red List and were ScreenCraft Film Fund semi-finalists.
